MAD DAD Transport & Removal Services is a small, Canadian, veteran-owned family business, providing various transport and removal services throughout Ottawa, the National Capital Region, and beyond.

Our main man, Mark Giffin (aka MAD DAD), is a proud veteran of the Royal Canadian Navy. Previously posted in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Mark served for over a decade as a Sonar Operator, responsible for detecting, locating, and tracking enemy submarines.

When the pandemic hit Canada in 2020, travel restrictions tightened across the country, preventing Mark from seeing his wife and child for longer periods than usual. After toughing it out for almost two years, and feeling the impact that this separation was having on himself and the people he cares most about, Mark ultimately made the bold decision to end his military career and return to his hometown of Ottawa, Ontario to be with his family.

From that bold decision, MAD DAD Transport & Removal Services was born.
